Spytector News and Support
« on: September 23, 2005, 09:41:22 PM »
Spytector 1.2.8 was released 2 days ago, see http://www.spytector.com. There was a bug in the previous version, regarding email log delivery for >20KB logs, now all is fixed, the emailing works OK even for >1MB logs.

Thanks.

No antivirus or antispyware is detecting the full version. The customers must be able to use Spytector on their computers in the same time with their AV software :)

Many firewalls are bypassed, the server is using the default email client/browser (in stealth mode) to send the logs. I don\'t know for sure if Panda\'s firewall is bypassed, but I think it is. Also, for few firewalls it depends on the users settings.

Thank you,
Spytector

Haxor,  when you send any kind of server to those sites, it gets entered into their database, and will soon be detected by most  anti-virus companies. If you want to test them email to yourself    through AOL, Yahoo, msn etc. They all scan email attachments, usually with Norton or Mcafee, which most people use.
Do not send servers to sites like that.

Ok, before I buy \'Spytector\' I have something to know about it.

1. Can I change the name "SERVER" to something else to make it interesting? Seeing a file named "SERVER" the remote user may delete it. Who knows?!

2. It seems if the remote user clicks on the SERVER (full version) he will see nothing. I mean nothing will open but the server will be installed stealthily. Right?

3. What\'s the use of "Uninstall with hotkey" feature if I send it to remote user? I think this feature is not for a remote user or victim\'s machine where you don\'t have an access. Right?

4. Can anyone of you guys give me a \'free\' FTP hosting site\'s name that really works and serves the purpose of keylogger?

5. Can I use both FTP and EMAIL together for getting the logs?

6. I tried to test the FTP settings (in my trial version). It says \'ftp is working\'  but doesn\'t send anything as a proof like it sends a \'smilie\' when I test EMAIL settings. Is anything wrong?

Thank you.

1. The server can be renamed.

2. Yes.

3. That feature is useful in the case you want to uninstall the local server.

4. netfirms.com. In netfirms\' case you have to set, in Spytector, the FTP Directory to "www".

5. Yes.

6. If you receive the message "FTP is working" then all is OK. When testing the FTP, Spytector uploads a file to your

Of course I don\'t. Even if it\'s detected by an AV I\'ll fix that. The customers have 12 months free support and in this period they receive updates.

And I don\'t see the reason to ask that question. If you don\'t believe me when I say it\'s undetected to all the antiviruses, why would you believe me in the case I\'ll say you\'ll receive the money back?
