keylogging data sent to keyboard
« on: September 20, 2014, 01:15:53 AM »
I've got a key logger written in c++ that works.  But it does not see any data that is
sent to the keyboard.  If I hit scroll_lock key I don't see the codes to turn on the scroll_lock led on.

I'm tying to determine what codes are sent to my KVM to switch computers.  If you do a crtl alt 2 it will switch to computer 2.
But if I sent ctrl-alt-2 to the keyboard it does not work.  So I think that the utility software I'm running can see the ctrl-alt-2
and then send a different code to the KVM.  The KVM also has a lock audio thru the utility.  But no idea what codes are sent to the KVM
to do the lock.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you coded this, you might have better luck asking at a coding forum like hackhound dot org.
